Refund policy
Last Updated: July 2026
At Baking at Altitude, all of our products are handcrafted, made-to-order food items. Due to the nature of our products and food safety requirements, all sales are final.
Returns
We do not accept returns of any food products once they have been delivered or picked up.
For food safety reasons, returned food items cannot be resold or redistributed, and therefore are not eligible for return or exchange.
Refunds
Because our products are perishable and made specifically for each order, we do not offer refunds for:
- Change of mind
- Personal taste preferences
- Incorrect storage after delivery or pickup
- Failure to consume products before their recommended freshness period
Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items
We want you to be happy with your order. Please inspect your order upon receipt.
If you receive:
- A damaged item
- An incorrect item
- A missing item
- A product with a quality issue
please contact us within 24 hours of delivery or pickup at bakery@bakingataltitude.com.
To help us evaluate the issue, please include:
- Your order number
- A description of the problem
- Photographs of the affected product(s)
If we determine that an error occurred on our part, we may, at our sole discretion:
- Provide a replacement product
- Issue store credit
- Issue a refund
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled for a full refund if cancellation is requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery date.
Because ingredients, production schedules, and custom preparations begin before fulfillment, cancellations requested within 48 hours of pickup or delivery may not be eligible for a refund.
Custom, holiday, and special-order products may have different cancellation requirements and may be non-refundable once production has begun.
Exchanges
Because all products are food items and perishable, we do not offer exchanges.
